Special Operations Division

The Special Operations Division of the Operations Section is comprised of the specialized units within the Rushville Police Department. These units provide a variety of support services to assist the Patrol and Investigations Division in achieving their mission.

Members of these units receive additional training and possess expertise in their corresponding specialty. In addition, the teams within the Special Operations Division play a crucial role in planning, organizing and executing the daily objectives and overall mission of the agency in more extreme circumstances not experienced daily. These types of deployments may range from K9 search, manhunt, missing person, aerial surveillance, search warrants, and parades and community festivals.
