Learn about Trash Pickup
The City of Rushville runs three garbage routes Monday through Wednesday with weekly curbside trash collection according to the following schedule:
Monday: The East side of town, east of Main Street and north of Flatrock River. Also, south of Flatrock River and east of Old State Road 3.
Tuesday: The near northwest side of town, from Main Street west to the railroad tracks and north of Fourth Street.
Wednesday: The northwest side of town, from the railroad tracks west and north of Fourth Street. Also, south of Flatrock River and west of Old State Road 3.
Thursday: No regular trash pick-up; however, curbside collection of recyclables takes place city-wide.
Recyclables should be placed in green lid toters provided free of charge by the Street Department.
If you have any questions about your pick-up day, call 765-932-2575 with your address. Yard waste is picked up from Spring through Fall, the same day as garbage.
