D.A.R.E.

D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) is a program of the RPD that provides K9 demonstrations, illegal substance, identification courses, and safety information for special occasions, such as Halloween. Through education in the areas of drugs & opioids, mental health, social media safety, and vaping, D.A.R.E. provides students and participants with resources for positive decision making and to lead a healthy lifestyle.

Bicycle Aid

The Rushville Police Department encourages residents to visit the police station to register their bicycles to aid in returning recovered lost or stolen bikes to their rightful owners. 

UTV Inspections

The Rushville Police Department performs inspections, per ordinance, on golf carts and UTVs to insure safe, legal operation of these vehicles on city streets.  The application for golf carts and UTVs can be located on the city website or through this link.
