<%@LANGUAGE="JAVASCRIPT" CODEPAGE="65001"%> RPD Investigations

Many crimes which are committed are drug related. Knowing this, the Rushville Police Department takes a proactive stance on narcotic investigations. The Rushville Police Deparment is a member of the RUFF Drug Task force, which consists of: Shelby County Sheriff's Department, Connersville Police Department, Fayette County Sheriff's Department, and the Rush County Sheriff's Department. The RPD continually works narcotic cases to make the community a safer place for everyone.

The RPD also takes a stance on white collar crimes, and works tirelessly on the investigation of these cases. The RPD strives to solve these cases using modern technology, interview techniques, and evidence which is collected. The Detective works closely with the department's Evidence Technician to solve these cases.

Without tips from the public, law enforcement would have a difficult time solving these cases. The RPD is offering a more user-friendly way to provide these tips to the necessary people. You can e-mail any tip to the e-mail account of detective@cityofrushville.in.gov. If you wish to remain anonymous, type "Anonymous" in the subject line of the e-mail.
